Aircraft Maintenance Technician II (M,F,X)
Job Description Summary
We are looking for a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician II – Senior to join our team at Liège Airport. This role
involves advanced-level maintenance activities including inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs across airframe,
powerplant, and avionics systems. As an FAA-certified A&P; Technician, you will ensure our aircraft are maintained
in peak operational condition, compliant with FAA regulations and FedEx standards. You will play a key role in
maintaining safety, minimizing downtime, and ensuring meticulous documentation of all maintenance work in
accordance with approved technical publications.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on assigned aircraft.
• Strictly adhere to FAA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and electronic systems to perform accurate repairs.
• Collaborate with fellow technicians to resolve complex maintenance issues and share knowledge through
cross-training.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance tasks using approved documentation systems.
• Participate in ongoing training to keep certifications current and skills up to date.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with procurement to ensure availability of tools and parts.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and operational teams to align maintenance activities with flight
schedules
What You Bring
• FAA A&P; certification (or equivalent vocational training).
• Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance tools, systems, and diagnostics.
• Experience in handling, repairing, and troubleshooting heavy aircraft components.
• Proficiency in sheet metal work, electrical systems, and multi-system troubleshooting.
• Certifications and hands-on experience with B777 and B767 aircraft are highly desirable
