Area BD Manager EU & SEA BU (M,F,X)

Job Description

  •  Responsible for Logistics business development by getting new accounts or increasing market share with existing accounts
  •  Generate leads, set appointments and present business proposals to potential customers through various communication channels, including: face to face meetings, telephone calls, emails, etc
  •  Manage and maintain pipelines, respond to requests for information in a timely manner and remain proactive and responsive to prospective customers
  •  Handle RFQ and tenders
  •  Participate in client MBR and QBR
  • Protect the company benefit by strictly complying all policies, regulations
  •  Effectively interacts with other departments including operation & Solution teams, and finance, legal department etc
  •  Study the market inclusive, but not limit of competitors, carriers, manufacturers to be updated market trends, fluctuation, change
  • Timely submission of sales report to direct manager or higher levels when required

Job requirements

  •  Logistics & Supply Chain Management related education background
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in Logistics & Freight Forwarding industry with exposure to sales and business development, have a good grasp of how cross-border e-commerce logistics work
  •  Proficient in MS Office applications
  •  Good in communication and negotiation
  •  Strong organizational and management skills
  •  Strategic thinking and statistical analysis skills
  • Ability and desire to thrive in a high-pressure entrepreneurial environment, willing to get hands dirty
  • Fluent in English, with Mandarin or any other EU language is a plus
