Compliance Monitoring Lead Auditor (M,F,X)

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The purpose of the job is to assist the Compliance Monitoring Manager in the compliance monitoring of all activities related to the Air Operator Certificate.

KEY ACTIVITIES

  • Assist the Compliance Monitoring Manager in maintaining and improving the company Compliance Monitoring
  •  Evaluate the ASL Airlines Belgium (ASLB) published documentation in order to check compliance with the applicable regulations
  •  Design the audit plan in accordance with our procedures, EASA regulation & BCAA circulars
  •  Supervise ASLB auditors in their tasks. Assign audits, follow up of progress, update of the audit plan & provide a bi-weekly status
  •  Recording and follow-up of SAFA/SACA findings & actions related for closure
  •  Participate in the Safety Actions Groups to share issues & push for actions to take
  •  Review and approve MEL extensions, Variation to Maintenance Period
  •  Review and approve the following manuals: the MEL, Aircraft Maintenance Programs, CAME & related TPM’s
  •  Perform compliance audits and inspections in the area of
    o dangerous goods;
    o load control;
    o ramp handling;
    o aircraft security;
    o cargo handling;
    o CAMO engineering;
    o Subcontracted activities: Contracted maintenance organisations, FSTDs,…;
    o Flight Operations;
    o In flight inspection (cabin);
    o ATO training;
    o IOSA;
    o Wet lease / Dry lease
  •  Identify and record any concerns or findings and the evidence necessary to substantiate such concerns or findings
  • Report directly to the Compliance Monitoring Manager
  •  Verify the implementation of corrective actions within specific timescales in order to ensure compliance with the
    required standards
  •  Participate in relevant company projects and provide the project team with advice and expertise in order to
    achieve high quality results

REQUIREMENT & QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor degree or equivalent by experience
  • Successfully completed an auditor / lead auditor course
  • Experience in the aviation industry within a technical, operational or quality environment
  •  Be familiar with EASA and IATA regulations (as applicable) relevant to the company
  •  Strong in both written and verbal English and one other European language is desirable
  • Diplomatic and analytical
  •  Ability to dispatch and follow audits, non-conformities & actions related
  • Supervising skills
  • Ability to work independently
  •  Computer literate
  • To display a positive, open and cooperative behavior in order to facilitate a good relationship inside and outside
    the department, avoid and help to solve conflicts
  •  To be rigorous, precise, well organized, solution orientated, proactive, etc.
