Technical Engineer (Maintenance Program) (M,f,X)

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • Draw up and/or keep up-to-date the ASLB fleet aircraft Approved Maintenance Programs (AMP) in line with the European and global developments/regulations, instructions from the Aircraft Manufacturers, Regulatory Authorities, Vendors and input from the ASLB engineering department.
  •  Maintain all AMP related Tasks up-to-date to ensure the correct maintenance of the entire ASLB fleet are planned correctly and guaranteed at all times.

KEY ACTIVITIES

  •  Responsible to keep the Aircraft Maintenance Programs up-to-date – timely analyse and review of different sources revised regulary (e.g. Maintenance Planning Document, Maintenance Review Board Document, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, STC, etc.)
  •  In coordination with Technical Engineers review repetitive requirements from Airworthiness Directives, Modifications, STC data in order to ensure that the Aircraft Maintenance Programs are amended accordingly
  •  Participate to the Reliability meetings in order to ensure that identified reliability improvement actions are introduced in the Aircraft Maintenance Programs
  •  Optimize the Aircraft Maintenance Programs in order to improve the effectiveness of the maintenance program with regard to fleet performance and task findings
  • Optimize the maintenance philosophy in order to maximize the aircraft availability within allocated budget.
  • Produce temporary revisions to the Aircraft Maintenance Programs.
  • Produce yearly revisions of the Aircraft Maintenance Programs.
  •  Distribute the approved Aircraft Maintenance Programs within the Technical Department, Compliance Monitoring Department and the proper authorities.
  •  Request and monitor the variations to maintenance period and other concessions needed to satisfy fleet management requirements
  •  Provide support to the Project and Engineering Manager – Produce an Aircraft Maintenance Program and define a bridging (if required) iaw NAA requirements when an aircraft is introduced in the fleet
  •  Offer support with various projects in view of the optimal functioning and controlling of the Engineering Department in particular and the Technical Department in general – Identify and initiate process improvement and change

REQUIREMENT & QUALIFICATIONS

  •  Bachelor or Master in Engineering or similar due to experience
  •  At least one year experience in an aviation / aeronautical environment (preferred)
  •  Knowledge in continuing airworthiness, Part M, Part 145, Part 21 regulations
  •  Able to demonstrate accuracy, analytical skills and is objectives oriented
  •  Team-player
  •  Good communication skills with all levels in a clear, factual manner
  •  Flexible and ability to work under pressure
  •  Work in an organized way to be able to meet set deadlines
  •  Computer literate, MS Office with good administration skills
  • Good command of the English and French language (written and spoken)
  •  To display a positive, open and cooperative behaviour in order to facilitate a good relationship inside and outside the department, avoid and help to solve conflicts
  •  To maintain a professional office environment with due regard to confidentiality and security of aircraft data
  •  To be rigorous, precise, well organized, solution orientated, proactive, etc

  • Available to travel abroad from time to time to attend technical conferences and training
  •  Available for after office hours/during weekends to provide Engineering service support when required to the technical/maintenance operations and ensure the on-time availability of the aircraft
