Mechanics B737 (M,F,X)

Responsibilities

As part of our team we count on you to maintain and take good care of our fleet of B737-400 & B737-800 aircraft in accordance with the highest standards, and with focus on safety, reliability and on-time performance.

The purpose of this job is to perform inspections, make repairs and perform scheduled maintenance of aircraft. Diagnose both electrical and mechanical problems and identify repair procedures. Examine parts for defects and replace them with new ones.

  • Inspect and examine aircraft components, including de-icing systems, hydraulic systems and landing gear, for leaks, cracks, breaks or other issues.
  • Read and use blueprints, maintenance manuals, ATA codes, illustrated parts catalogues, service bulletins and other maintenance documents to troubleshoot and complete work assignments.
  • Perform routine maintenance operations, such as the replacement of power plant and aircraft components.
  • Perform hourly, daily and monthly inspections to check for cracks, oil leaks, burned areas, foreign object damage, warping, distortions, missing segments and wear. Keep detailed records of the inspections performed, repairs finished, maintenance procedures and ordered parts.
  • Complete all tasks in the allotted time frame and to the quality standards of our company, our customers and the regulatory authority.
  • Promote safety within the workplace by monitoring others and yourself to guarantee all tasks are performed within the safety manual guidelines, and communicate with other mechanics and supervisors to coordinate repairs and keep appraised of safety concerns.
  • Order supplies, equipment, materials and parts for repairs and general maintenance
  • Shall maintain competence on the basis of continued education and training in their area of responsibility. The company will facilitate this process.

Requirements

Our ASL operation requires extensive experience and knowledge of the aircraft, quick decision making, and excellent communication skills, to keep the team on and out of the platform informed live on aircraft status.

High tolerance to physical and mental stress is required as maintenance takes place during the night at very specific waves. Keeping the on time performance and reliability of the fleet is essential. The working environment is highly regulated and compliance to the various rules imposed in the platform and the facility is mandatory.

We expect you to be fully functional in English and in good physical condition.

A strict background check is performed to gain access to LGG or BRU and to our customer’s dedicated apron.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) with aviation-specific training.
  • Qualification in Aircraft Mechanics – certified by relevant regulatory authority – EASA part 66.
  • Minimum of three years of experience on commercial and general aviation aircraft.
  • Experience in Line/Base maintenance on the types is a strong merit as is experience in AMOS.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Good corporate and cultural sensitivity.

  • Can-do attitude.
  • Strong results-orientation combined with customer service mindset.
  • Good planning and organizing skills.
  • Good knowledge of English is a must.
  • Ability to legally work in the EU.
